Overview

Micah Cerynik graduated from the University of Virginia in May 2025, where he majored in Political Philosophy, Policy, and Law, an honors interdisciplinary major, and minored in Religious Studies.

During his time at the University of Virginia, Micah studied political philosophy, policy, law, and religion, and his graduating thesis explored how American adversarial trials function as truth-seeking procedures. Micah was also an Echols Scholar, a Dean’s List recipient, a member of the Raven Society, and a captain of the team that won the 2024 National Mock Trial Championship. In addition, Micah was a teaching assistant in the McIntire School of Commerce and spent four years researching the history of UVA.
