Caitlin Lewis graduated Summa Cum Laude from Spelman College in May of 2024, where she majored in International Studies with a concentration in International Development and minored in Spanish.
In Caitlin’s senior year, she worked with Dr. Moon Charania to write a thesis, “Forging Equitable Paths to Justice: Amplifying Black Women’s Voices in the Pursuit of Innocence” which explored how efforts in the criminal justice system must be intensified to amplify the representation and inclusion of Black women within Innocence Projects and the broader discourse on wrongful convictions.
